Galway Simon Community will provide a comfortable and safe environment to help and support those experiencing homelessness and those at the risk of homelessness. We will help identify and meet the needs of those presenting to our service, providing them with information and assistance in the areas relevant to their needs.

We will operate a system of care and support planning to enable individuals to set achievable goals to meet their full potential.

Who can access the service

Anyone over 18 years of age, who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness in the Ballinasloe area

Areas of assistance include:

Information and advocacy on all levels concerning

    addictions

    physical and mental health

    liaising with other services e.g. health, legal, social protection

    rights and entitlements

    housing needs and the management of tenancies

How to access our services:

You can access the resource centre by dropping in or by making a referral on www.galwaysimon.ie.

Opening hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 9:30am to 2:30pm
Thursday and Fridays: 9:30am to 2pm

Our mission is to reach out and provide a safe environment where Galway Simon Community can work with individuals towards addressing their needs to end homelessness or avoid being homeless. Through practical action, we will enable people move towards a more secure lifestyle to reach their full potential.
