The Galway City Alcohol Service is a free and confidential service which provides supports using a harm reduction approach to those who are over 18 and are misusing or dependent on alcohol . The service provides:
• Individual Counselling
• Individual Care Planning
• Client Support
• Family Support
• Assistance in accessing Residential Treatment Facilities
• Guidance towards additional available community supports
GP referrals can be made directly to the Galway City Alcohol Service for patients residing in the Galway City area through Healthlink.
