Jigsaw Galway is a free and confidential support service for young people aged 15 – 25, living in Galway city and county.  We focus on a positive mindset and guide young people in dealing with life’s ups and downs.

We have a range of professionals available to find out what a young person needs; we provide non-judgemental listening, emotional support, guided self-help and supported access to other services.

Young people can get in touch with the service by text, email, phone or online.

We believe that whatever support you need, you should be able to get it when you need it and in a place where you feel safe, respected and comfortable.

We also provide information, advice and guidance to others (such as parents, relatives, teachers, youth workers) on how they can best support a young person who they are concerned or worried about, or how they can suggest Jigsaw to that person.

We also work with other professionals throughout the county.  Our aim is to build the ability of the local community to respond to the mental health needs of young people – so that they have better use of the supports in their local town / area.

We want to work towards a community that is supportive of young people’s mental health and well being.  Presentations and talks in schools, workplaces and community groups aim to create a discussion on mental health and raise awareness of the support that Jigsaw Galway and other people can offer.
